welcome to something different.
Whether you’ve been following Jesus for years, just finding your way back, or still trying to figure out what you believe — you belong here.

My Saved Life is a family of disciples, leaders, and ministries working together to make recovery and discipleship one unified journey. We’re not another church program or religious brand — we’re a movement of people who got tired of suffering. Saved Life was born out of real pain, real recovery, and a real encounter with Jesus. Some come from church, some from addiction recovery, some from rock bottom — but all of us are learning how to live free. Saved Life isn’t about steps or slogans; it’s about discovering who you were created to be and learning to walk in real freedom through Jesus.
We believe true freedom doesn’t come from programs — it comes from Jesus.
That’s why every Well, Quest House, The Forge Recovery Ranch (future), and outreach under this banner exists to help people be who God intended them to be and do what He has called them to do. Known spiritually as The Order of the Redeemed, this Network is a Kingdom movement — a fellowship of redeemed men and women walking The Quest to Become Recovered, serving with humility, and living with honor.

The Chronicles of the Redeemed share real stories, lessons, and reflections from The Quest to Become Recovered. Each post is a checkpoint on the narrow road — a place to pause, reflect, and press forward in your journey from bondage to freedom. These chronicles blend discipleship, recovery, and the imagery of modern-day knighthood, guiding you to break chains, renew your mind, and walk in the victory Christ offers.

“Because I’ve lived it. I was hopeless. I was lost. I was broken. I was chained by addiction and spent nearly seven years incarcerated and three years homeless on the streets of Jacksonville, FL because of guilt/shame and a distorted image I had of myself. In that dark place, God gave me Saved Life and The Quest to Become Recovered, and I watched Him transform my life and the lives of others around me. That’s why I do this — because I know The Quest works, and I know Christ truly sets people free. I have been set free. I know who I used to be, I know who I am today, and I know how…His name is Jesus! And now I want to tell everyone!”

Unlike secular recovery programs that speak of a “higher power,” The Quest is unapologetically Christ-centered. It is not just about overcoming addiction — it is about discovering new life in Christ, being discipled, and becoming equipped to disciple others.

We would say, “Good”. We are not religious either. We have a relationship with Jesus Christ. There is a big difference between “religion” and “relationship”. You are welcome here! Saved Life is a grace-filled faith community where everyone is invited to walk the journey of recovery and transformation. We believe lasting freedom comes through Christ, but we never force faith on anyone.
Many begin their Quest simply seeking hope, healing, and a new way forward. Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, you will find acceptance, encouragement, and truth spoken in love.

No. Anyone is welcome to join. Those who have received Christ declare their new identity (“I am a new creation in Christ who once struggled with…”). Those still seeking are welcome to introduce themselves honestly by naming their current battle (“I am [Name], and I am an addict/alcoholic, etc.”). Both are embraced — one declaring freedom found, the other declaring the battle still being fought.

Recovery is more than just breaking free from drugs, alcohol, or destructive behaviors. True recovery is a return to the life God intended from the beginning — a life of freedom, wholeness, and purpose in Christ.
At The Quest to Become Recovered, we define recovery through 2 Corinthians 3:18 (NKJV):
“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”Recovery, then, is the process of transformation:
From Bondage to Freedom: Christ sets us free from the chains of addiction and sin.
From Brokenness to Wholeness: God heals our wounds and restores our identity.
From Survival to Purpose: We are called not just to be rescued, but to live as disciples who serve, lead, and help others find freedom.
Recovery is not only about what we leave behind — it is about what we are becoming: transformed into the image of Christ, from glory to glory, by the Spirit of the Lord.

The Quest uses the imagery of a knight’s training to model spiritual growth:
Soldier (Stage One): Learn to fight for personal freedom in Christ.
Squire/Maiden (Stage Two): Train with discipline, grow in maturity, and prepare to serve others.
Knight/Lady (Stage Three): Live with honor, walk in authority, and lead others on their Quest.
-
The knight imagery helps restore dignity and identity. Knights/Ladies were men and women of honor who lived by oaths, served their king faithfully, and fought to protect the weak. In the same way, participants in The Quest are called to live with integrity, serve the King of kings, and fight for the freedom of others. The imagery provides a powerful picture of transformation — from brokenness and shame into honor, courage, and service.
