Where We’re Headed

SAVED LIFE
PENSACOLA

A Christ-Centered Church of Recovery, Discipleship & Mission.

We believe God is leading Saved Life toward something more than a book, a curriculum, or a recovery meeting. We believe He is leading us toward building a local church community in Pensacola where people can encounter Jesus Christ, grow in genuine discipleship, recover the image of Christ, belong in meaningful Christian community, and eventually help someone else do the same.

Saved Life – Pensacola is still being built. We are praying, preparing, gathering people, developing leaders, and seeking God’s direction for what comes next.

EXPLORE THE VISION I’M INTERESTED
The Vision

We are not trying to build another religious event.

We want to build a church where people actually learn how to follow Jesus. A church where recovery is understood as more than overcoming an addiction. A church where discipleship means the ongoing transformation of the whole person—mind, will, emotions, relationships, habits, character, and purpose.

Saved Life teaches that we are all in recovery from the Fall. Sin has affected every part of human life, but through Jesus Christ, God is restoring what sin has broken. The Christian life is not merely about becoming more religious. It is about being transformed into the image of Christ through the work of the Holy Spirit.

“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
— 2 Corinthians 3:18
Our DNA

The Seven Marks of Saved Life – Pensacola

These are not marketing statements. They describe the kind of church we are praying and working to become.

01

Christ-Centered

Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Everything begins and ends with Him. Our preaching, recovery, discipleship, worship, community, and mission must continually point people back to Jesus.

02

Discipleship-Driven

We are not satisfied with decisions alone. We want to see people grow into mature followers of Jesus who know His Word, obey His voice, develop Christlike character, and help others grow.

03

Recovery-Minded

We believe every believer is being transformed from glory to glory into the image of Christ. Recovery is not reserved for people with addictions. We are all recovering from the effects of the Fall.

04

Mission-Focused

Each one reach one. Each one teach one. Every disciple is called to reach others, share the Gospel, serve people, and help someone else learn to follow Jesus.

05

Community-Rooted

Christianity was never meant to be lived alone. People need to be known, challenged, discipled, encouraged, loved, and held accountable inside genuine Christian community.

06

For the Overlooked

We intentionally make room for the addicted, incarcerated, formerly incarcerated, broken families, the church-hurt, and those who have never felt like they belonged in traditional church culture.

07

Spiritually Serious

We are committed to prayer, repentance, holiness, Scripture, worship, evangelism, spiritual warfare, obedience, and the work of the Holy Spirit. We are not gathering merely to be entertained. We want to encounter God and become people whose lives reflect Him.

The Movement
COME AND SEE.
GO AND TELL.

Jesus invited people to come close, experience life with Him, learn from Him, and then carry His message to others. We want that same movement built into the culture of Saved Life – Pensacola.

COME

What This Could Look Like

More than attending church.

We envision a church where Sunday gatherings are important, but they are not the entire Christian experience. The real work of discipleship happens as people learn to walk with Jesus throughout the week.

That means gathering around Scripture. Building relationships. Practicing prayer. Learning obedience. Walking through brokenness. Making things right when possible. Developing spiritual disciplines. Serving others. Sharing the Gospel. Discovering purpose. And learning how to help another person take their next step toward Christ.

Saved Life Outposts, Transformation Journey cohorts, recovery ministry, biblical teaching, leadership development, outreach, prison ministry, community service, and ordinary believers discipling ordinary believers can all become part of the life of the church.

Our goal is not simply to gather a crowd.

Our goal is to see people transformed into the image of Christ and then sent back into their homes, neighborhoods, workplaces, prisons, recovery communities, churches, and relationships carrying the life of Jesus with them.
Who We Are Building For

There should always be room at the table.

Some people walk into church already knowing the language, the customs, and what is expected of them. Others walk in carrying addiction, incarceration, relapse, shame, broken relationships, financial problems, family wounds, church hurt, or a long list of mistakes they wish they could undo.

We want Saved Life – Pensacola to be a church where those stories do not disqualify someone from belonging.

Grace meets people where they are, but grace does not leave people where it found them. We want to welcome people honestly, love them deeply, tell them the truth faithfully, walk with them patiently, and continually point them toward the transforming life of Jesus Christ.

Before There Is A Crowd

We are praying for people who want to help build it.

Churches are not built by logos, websites, stages, or buildings. They are built by people who believe God has called them to something together.

We are praying for a core group of men and women who believe in this vision and are willing to pray, serve, learn, disciple, reach people, build relationships, and help establish the culture of Saved Life – Pensacola before there is ever a large public gathering.

We do not need a stage to begin.
We need a table, a Bible, prayer, people, and obedience.
Our Mission

EACH ONE REACH ONE.
EACH ONE TEACH ONE.

We want every person who becomes part of Saved Life – Pensacola to eventually recognize that they are not merely recipients of ministry. They are participants in the mission of Jesus.

Somebody reached us. Somebody taught us. Somebody prayed for us. Somebody walked with us. Eventually, we become that person for someone else.

Where We Are Right Now

This is a vision in development.

Saved Life – Pensacola has not launched as a weekly church gathering. We are currently praying, developing the biblical and ministry foundation, building relationships, serving through Saved Life, forming community, and discerning the people God may be calling to help establish this work.

We would rather build slowly on a strong foundation than move quickly simply to say we launched.

If God is truly building this church, we believe He will provide the people, relationships, opportunities, wisdom, resources, and timing necessary to establish it.
